There’s widespread concern over the number of deaths related to DNP that keep increasing year after year.
Makes one wonder whether it would be a better alternative to promote Clenbuterol as a safer fat burner, with some stringent warnings on the label of course.
You see Clen is a pharmaceutical bronchodilator that has been used for decades in therapeutic settings.
The side effects of the drug are widely researched and completely predictable.
As long as clear warnings and instructions are given, nobody in their sane mind would take an unrealistic dose or be caught unaware with their insides getting cooked.
Sadly, that’s a pipe dream that won’t come true anytime soon.
Just like anabolics, Clenbuterol is reserved for UG labs in the black market.
If you have ever contemplated buying a fat burner online, Clen is one of the safest ones as compared to some of the other shit being peddled in fancy looking bottles.
Here’s a complete Clenbuterol FAQ for first timers looking to burn some fat with Clen.
What is Clenbuterol?
It is a bronchodilator that is used by asthmatics to restore normal breathing following an asthma attack during which, their airway gets obstructed.
Clenbuterol stimulates the Beta-2 receptors in the Sympathomimetic Nervous System (SNS), that is associated with the subconscious actions of the body. It is also associated with triggering the fight or flight response.
This stimulation does two things.
- It reopens the airways and restores normal breathing for asthmatics.
- It also activates the fight or flight response elevating the body temperature and metabolism.
The increased heat enhances lipolysis. In a nutshell, your body starts to burn fat.
As long as you continue to use Clenbuterol, your metabolism will stay elevated and you will continue to burn fat.
Clenbuterol also has another unique effect, which is widely debated and a tad controversial.
In some animal-model studies, it was revealed that Clenbuterol helped increase muscle mass and amplified the rate of healing in injured animals.
While some people refute that this effect is not as pronounced in humans, there are some bodybuilders who believe that Clen helps preserve muscle during aggressive cuts.
What is the right dosage for Clenbuterol?
There’s no one size fits all. Each one of us has an individual tolerance level to stimulants.
We also react differently to drugs.
So start with the lowest dose of Clenbuterol that you can find. If you have 10mcg pills, start with 10mcg/day for three to four days.
Then increase it to 20mcg/day for a few days.
Then bump it up by 20mcg once every two weeks.
Stop at 6-weeks and take 6-8 weeks off.
This is the safest way to use Clen without risking too many side effects.
There’s also a two week on, two weeks off protocol that is very effective. You use Clen in a similar fashion for two weeks and then take two weeks off.
This prevents the down regulation of the Beta-2 receptors. In other words, your body does not get used to the dose of Clenbuterol.
How long should you use Clenbuterol to burn fat?
You will essentially begin burning fat from day 1.
However, it may be weeks before you reach your target body fat percentage.
Some bodybuilders reserve their usage of Clenbuterol for the last 6-weeks leading up to competitions. This minimizes the risk of side effects and allows them to start with a higher dose since they are only using it for a short time frame.
In either case, it is recommended that you limit your intake of Clenbuterol to 6-weeks at a time.
Using it for more than 6-weeks wil take much higher, unsafe doses.
Can you eat normally while using Clenbuterol?
If normal means junk food, then no. You can’t.
You will have to eat clean and in a calorific-deficit for Clenbuterol to work.
To be honest it will burn fat even if you follow a crappy diet and stuff yourself with junk food.
But the results will be nowhere as pronounced as what they’ll be if you eat clean.
Can you drink alcohol with Clenbuterol?
Not recommended. Clenbuterol is a powerful stimulant of the SNS.
Alcohol on the other hand is a central nervous system depressant that can reduce the effectiveness of Clenbuterol.
This may force you take higher doses of Clenbuterol to get the same results, gravely increasing the risk of serious side effects.
Ironically, taking more of Clenbuterol will reduce the effect of Alcohol which may make you drink more than normal.
Your cognitive abilities will decline pretty rapidly.
So, its best avoided.
Does Clenbuterol tax your liver?
Clenbuterol is not an anabolic steroid that’s hepatotoxic.
While it will be metabolized by your liver, the stress on your liver is not even close to what a 17CAA-methylated oral steroid can put on it.
So you don’t need to use Liver support either if you are only using Clenbuterol.
Do you need to use it with anabolic steroids or Sarms?
It’s not necessary to pair Clenbuterol with any other compound.
It works fine even if you use it as a standalone drug.
However, most users who use Clenbuterol are fitness buffs, gym rats, fitness models or bodybuilders who will pair it with anabolic steroids.
It works exceptionally well with steroids in helping athletes do a body recomposition where they can burn fat and build muscle at the same time.
We’d be wary of using Clenbuterol with SARMS though.
What kind of side effects can it cause?
The side effects that you experience with Clenbuterol are caused due to the stimulation of the SNS.
- Your body temperature will be elevated
- Your heart rate will increase
- It can cause jitters and tremors
- You may experience insomnia
- It can cause muscle cramps in some people
- Panic attacks (Rare)
- Palpitations (Rare)
- High Blood Pressure (Rare)
- Dry mouth
- Sudden death (Extremely rare)
Most of the common side effects will be felt as you increase the dose in the second and third week of the cycle.
This is why it is extremely important to go slow with the dosage increase.
Having said that, there are people who get jitters from their first dose of Clen.
Some have stopped their cycles within days because the side effects were too severe.
If it starts to affect the way you function in everyday life, it’s not worth it.
Stop and discontinue usage. You can take a break for a few weeks and then restart the cycle to see if the side effects continue.
