Epple Family donates Antique Medical Items to AMC

Audrain Medical Center is the recipient of a collection of antique medical supplies from the family of the late Dr. Lawrence K. Epple, Jr. Sisters of Dr. Epple, Amy Hoag, Ellen Burris and Jennifer Jerichow, recently delivered boxes of books, old bottles of medicine, medical supplies and an antique anesthesia table to AMC to put on display.

Dr. Epple was born in Mexico and graduated from Mexico High School. He was the son of Drs. Lawrence K. and Kathryn Epple.  His parents were physicians in Mexico during the 1950 and 60’s until their tragic death in a car accident in July 1969 along with four children. Dr. Epple was a pediatrician and his wife, Nancy, was his Office Manager in Woodbury Heights, NJ before their untimely death in a house fire.

The collection is on display in the Education Suite at AMC which is located on the main floor near the North entrance.
